Join us for this international expedition when we travel to beautiful Costa Rica. We will start our trip in the capital city of San Jose. We will then head to the Sarapiqui region and there we will have ample opportunity to photograph waterfalls and plenty of wildlife, including amazing hummingbirds, monkeys, sloths, frogs, etc.. After this, we head to a brand new stop for us which is Tortuguero National Park which will put us close to the animals both onsite at our lodge as well as with area boat tours. From there, we head west to the Turrialba region, where we will spend two days photographing sunrises, waterfalls, birds, gardens (including Lankester Botanical Garden which is new to our itinerary as well) and the most important cathedral in Costa Rica, the Basilica of Cartago. We will end our trip back in San Jose for easy departure from the airport. The vast array of photo opportunities will allow participants to sharpen all their skills in one trip. Cost includes ground transportation (private mini-bus), full-time driver and English-speaking guide, 8 nights’ accommodations, all meals and instruction. Cost does not include international airfare and tips for guide and driver (personal decision). Maximum 11 people. Remaining balance will be due 45 days before the start of the trip. Travel insurance is strongly recommended and each participant will be asked to sign a waiver if they do not purchase trip insurance.
