This trip will take us to Georgia in Autumn to visit multiple highlight spots. Leaving on Monday, November 6th from Charlotte we will head to Cartersville, GA where we will be spending 3 nights. This will give us the opportunity over the first few days to make multiple visits to Old Car City. This is a large property full of old cars that have been overtaken by nature and is a photographer’s paradise. Our time here will include a session doing light painting with wireless flashes for those that are interested. Then on Wednesday, we will go to Gibbs Gardens to photograph the fall colors in the gardens especially the Japanese Maples which should be at their peak. These two stops have made for incredible trips in years past but this year, we are going to add on two more stops. With a Thursday night stay in Commerce, GA, we will take in an easily accessible waterfall (Toccoa Falls) and a beautiful state park (Tallulah Gorge) that will give us a final waterfall opportunity before heading back to Charlotte on Friday the 10th.
4 nights accommodations, meals (some of my favorite restaurants in the country are in Cartersville, GA), entrance fees as well as transportation and all instruction are included in the pricing. If you choose to drive on your own, a small discount can be applied to the registration fee. Minimum 3, Maximum 6 Participants
