Saturday, November 2, 9am-4:30pm
Cost: $165 (Guest $45)
Hart’s Square Village is a collection of 100 log cabin structures located around a beautiful pond in Vale, NC (outside of Hickory). Many of our group have done photography out there during their annual Village Day but struggled with enjoying all of the photographic opportunities due to the larger number of tourists as well as the fall colors not being at peak. Therefore, we are renting out the village just for our group so that we will have full access to the exteriors of all of the buildings as well as the interiors during the perfect time for Autumn color.
This expedition is ideal for all levels of photographers and a great chance to work on technical camera settings as well as composition, etc. A checklist of suggested camera settings will be provided. This year we will have both the morning and the afternoon to enjoy shooting. We will start at 9am and break for lunch around Noon. You can bring your own lunch and eat inside or outside with bathrooms available, etc. We will provide cold bottled water for the entire day as well as help out in the field with ideas, technical challenges, etc. You can stay until 4:30pm or leave anytime before that (although there is a ton to shoot).
