This expedition will take us to a beautiful family farm in Kernersville, NC (about 1.5 hours from Charlotte) for the experience of shooting images of tulip fields in bloom. We held two outings here last year and between the rows of color, beautiful white fences, and unlimited close-up opportunities; this expedition is not to be missed. Plus, it was a great chance to introduce and work with in-camera movement techniques for those who want to.
We have arranged an early start time before the general public has access so that our group has almost exclusive opportunities to photograph the whole fields and then we will do more close-up shooting when the public is present. You also have the option to bring some scissors and a bucket and purchase your own cut buds.
Close to 11:00 am after everyone has had plenty of time to explore, we will have lunch together at a restaurant nearby before heading back to Charlotte or wherever your travels take you. The cost is $150 per person and admission, lunch and all instruction (along with a laminated checklist of camera settings) are included. Minimum 4, Maximum 8 participants
